Macaroni Must: Boo Boo Bag!


Our little one is known for lots of super fun things and some not so fun... knee scrapes! Oh yeah, if there is a sidewalk to be run down you will catch our 4 year old running at full speed. After several incidents in which we grabbed anything we could find to wipe the area clean we realized we needed a First Aid Kit in the car... then we realized (after an incident involving a piece of glass at the local lake and her tiny foot) we needed even more ...


Recipe: Crunchy Raisin French Toast


Crunchy french toast, fresh strawberries and cream cheese make a great treat any day!

Ingredients:

4 eggs

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

8 slices cinnamon raisin bread

2 cups crushed cereal flakes (corn, bran, etc) - We used Kashi 7 Whole Grain Flakes

1 cup whipped cream cheese

1 cup diced fresh strawberries

2 tsp powdered sugar

Oil

 

Directions:

Crack eggs into medium size shallow bowl, beat lightly with a fork. Add milk and vanilla and stir well.

The Milton Public Safety Fund (MPSF), a not-for-profit corporation that provides support for the city's police and fire services, will hold its fifth annual fundraiser during Fry's Electronics' Anniversary Sale.  Both days, police officers and fire fighters will offer a hot dog and cold drink combo for just 50 cents. In addition to hosting the event, Fry's also donates all the food, drinks and grills, allowing all proceeds to benefit the MPSF, which in turn purchases needed equipment for the police and fire departments. In addition to the great, cheap food, there will be special events on Saturday.

Children can show off their dogs and win awards for the most obedient, best trick in one minute, smallest, biggest, best groomed and best costumed dog. Dogs must be at least one year old. There will also be an award for “Best in Show”.

Saturday, May 19 - Gwinnett Place Summer Reading Book Fair

Jump start your summer vacation this year by stocking up on some of your favorite beach reads at the Gwinnett Place Book Fair on Saturday, May 19. Browse a diverse selection of literature ranging from children’s to fiction to young adult, and stock up on some great reads to keep you busy all summer long! All proceeds benefit the American Red Cross and Simon Youth Foundation, a Simon Property Group education and scholarship fund.  Pick up a great book or two to jump start your summer reading!

This event is designed to celebrate the best of Crabapple while raising money for local charities, including North Fulton Community Charities, Child Development Association of North Fulton and Canine Assistants.

Forefront Arts Young Actors' Ensemble presents "Schoolhouse Rock LIVE Jr"! A pop culture phenomenon comes to the musical stage! The Emmy Award-winning 1970's Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, grammar, math, science and politics through clever, tuneful songs is making a small-screen comeback, instructing a whole new generation to “Unpack Your Adjectives” and “Do The Circulation,” Featuring zany costumes, crazy characters, and a lovable score which includes "Three is a Magic Number", "Just a Bill", "Conjunction Junction" and "Interplanet Janet", this is a show the whole family will enjoy!
